I feel sorry for the poor thing.
Bad paint hacked up dash and carpet, some mustang wheels and a giant truck motor with a hole in the hood, missing headlight trim. Why ratrod this rare car?
Wrong choice of vehicle for these mundane mods.

    Would've made a great sleeper.

Missed all that. Too bad.

Now that I see the gauges, I agree. It's not cool over there on the Passenger side.

Yah, as much as we'd love to love them all, this one's been too "molestered" for my liking.

The hole in the hood bothers me the most. If it were mine, I'd make it so the stock hood could fit, replace the missing parts including the stock wheel covers & tires and then throw a nice paint job on it. After I was all done, I'd go out and tromp some Mustang GT's!

The hood and the dash, and the carpet over the tranny hump bothers me. I would also like to see how the shifter was removed from the colum, done rite or was it done like the hood and dash?

As for the Fugly paint job, I could deal with that (for the moment)....Now if it was a 70-72 Q code 351 Cleavland:dance:

I like the wheels, I had those wheels on my green Fox LTD, I ment to put them on my last Fox Marqius but they still just sit in my shop. I like those wheels a hell of alot better than the 10 hole Mustang rims BUT they are a b*tch to keep clean.

Finding the missing head lite trim is going to be a hard to do IMO, and what else is missing?

I wasn't going to say anything, but IMO that thing looks like a pile that was put together by a kid with stickers, bad paint, and not enough money. Seriously if that thing pulls $2800 there is something wrong with the world.

I'm torn between modding the wagon with a Capri T-roof or the tailgate with Capri Tailights, now that have all the harnesses. :rofl2:

Ix-nay on the Roof-tay, Norm. Beggin' for trouble there. Don't do anything to compromise the body. Frankly, I've had a vehicle with T-Tops ('85 Nissan 300ZX) and we took the T-tops off ONCE. Just bing able to look out the roof was all we needed. I much prefer a sun/moonroof.

Now that taillight mod might be interesting..........

    ( Oh.....you were joking.....? )
