it has no Title for God sake. Why is it everyone down here loses the title and cant seem to figure out how to replace it. I cant figure it out. I think the sun cooks their brains!

PS did anyone else notice the lack of a shifter on the column?

No, I did'nt notice the shifter, I just could'nt figure out why, someone would post an ad that made them look, totally off. Why would you put a picture of a grown man, with a batman mask in the ad? It dosn't even show much of the car. :coco:Would you not stop and think twice about buying a car from this guy. BTW you know you can get a bonded title for $250.

Looks like the back of that wagon is packed with junk too. I wouldn't look at this car just because the guy is strange and it's a lousy ad.

tried for a bonded title on my '29. they told me it was going to be several thousand dollars. I laughed at them and walked out. Probably got bad info. Still why is it that everyone down here loses their titles. I dont get it. When I need a title I just drag it back home to Michigan, get the staties to come out and run the hot list against the VIN and viola $25 and 10 days you get a real title. Its just a pain draggin cars across the country.

The car is sold BTW. I called the guy 2 days ago.

Not only is he weird, but he doesn't know much about his car. That's not a '66; it's a '64, for crying out loud, but I guess anybody who wears a batman mask in a picture of him trying to sell his car, most likely wouldn't know the correct year of it anyway.

very nice snooter. I was wondering when someone would notice it wasn't anything like a 66...
I'dve bought it though. Whatever bat boy did in the back seat could always be cleaned up with a strong bleach solution! and then it looked like a presentable car for probably a grand

It looked to me like the car is set up to be towed with a towbar. I wonder if it was doing trips in short spurts?

Anyway, I hate bat poop so I would never buy the car. But hey, someone just got a wagon and maybe they will join this forum and we can watch them bring it back to life if they are willing to share.
