man i tell ya norm' workin' in conditions like that i'll never make fun of the Old Farts again... youre my hero... Rafa
I love women, but I gotta tell ya that La Nina is getting under my skin, so to speak! That cold-hearted girl won't let me finish the car until after the New Year! The best weather this week is -4C (24F) at 3:00 AM on Christmas day)! Nothing close to -9C (20F) or -6C (21F) until the 30th. The only good thing is the new Insurance Discounts happen in the New Year, about $100 less.
Good news about the discount on the insurance. But I have to agree that working outside has to be hard to do in winter. At least in summer you can run a few fans to keep cool
Rev, I gotta thank you and La Nina and those Santa Anna winds. This is THE Week to finish the car! Close to 0C (32F) almost all week! Between the Pacific Coast's warm front, and the High Pressure, high winds (40 to 70 KM (42 MPH), we've got unseasonal temperatures (-12C is the Normal (6F)). Yippee Kay-eh!!!
Nah, he's getting 44F and liquid sunshine (rain). And it comes out our way as dry sunshine (not even snow!)
-4C (27F) with 40 MPH winds dives to 18F (-11C). But I got the alternator, PS pump, 6 Blade fan and belts in, even the Dual Tone horns and front end wiring. I had them all clean and the mounting brackets restored, so it went pretty fast. Tomorrow looks better 0C (32F) and less wind. I have to remove the tailgate gas cylinders to get the tailgate wiper and light wiring in, then do the interior wiring. I'm aiming to start her up on Sunday.
