TBird, what a great argument to persuade the wife about Powdercoating the wheels! "Look honey, no soft tires when you do wheelies in the parking lots."

What rattle can the Kama Sutra??? :rofl2:

I would drive the wagon to a place that sells painting supplies and look over the different glazes and polishes before rattle can paint on the car. Check Norms thread on how to do a roller paint job for cheap. His car looks great.

    No.:rofl2:

HandyAndy found somebody to blast and powdercoat his for something like $15.00 each. I burned a solid day prepping mine for primer and paint, and had to wait 10 hours between coats of rust paint, 2 years ago, and I'll have to touch them up again this year.:slap:

But that soft-tire argument is one of the best. Safety first. Andy? I want mine done too! :rofl2:

Not even Lady Chatterly's Lover comes close to the KS. Reminds me of Duddy Kravitz behind the barn - "Don't car if I do die, do die!":biglaugh:

If you watch one of the Austin Power's flicks, he's got his own version.

Sacred book for a teenager... or second childhood.

    Hey Snoot,
It's funny you ask about anything under the seat. I found a stack of old pictures.. they look at least 70s judging by the aging and old style printing. I think they may have been from your neck of the woods. Unfortunately they are very stuck together so they will get destroyed if I peel them apart, but I have a few that are fairly ok.

Any idea what the places are in the second photo ?

    Whatcha think ?

Looks like the previous owners visited New York Harbor some time back. That's obviously, the Statue of Liberty and the other picture is of Ellis Island, the original entry point of many, many immigrants. It's in New York Harbor and they've restored a bunch of the buildings that had fallen into disrepair. It's a great way to spend an afternoon.
Too bad all the other ones are stuck together.
