Seriously, TB....I can't thank you enough. I have wanted to be able to do this for YEARS and no one ever had the patience to stick with me long enough. I know I'm dense when it comes to this stuff because I'm visually oriented. If I can't SEE it being done....then I have to have STEP by STEP instructions. Thanks again, pal!

Behind the wheel of the SS, you're a young pup, Mike. :chirp:

I've been puttering around the Internet for the past 12 years and often oblivious to the fact that many of the things that are second nature to me are completely baffling to others.

Right, Steve....and I always ran into guys that were brains like you when it comes to puters. Their instructions were always too short....assuming I knew what they meant....or....way too complicated. When I would start asking questions they would just......disappear....LOL TB stuck with me and my stupid questions and I really appreciate that.

This is a good thing. Now in your travels you'll be capturing wagon history and we'll all get to share. A visual origami...

Nope....not really, Normy....I still don't have a digital camera and, if I did, I wouldn't know how to get the pix from the camera to the puter. Still stupid in that area. Hey....it only took me 10 years to learn what TB showed me last night!! It's hard to find people with the patience to help you along. Especially doing it online.

Remember when the folks used to tell you that they're 11 year old knew how to record with the VHS. Cameras have improved. You plug an accesory cable into the 'puter (USB slot) and leave it there. Get a spare one for the road. Then when you've installed the software on the 'puter, and have pics to load it takes copies from the camera to the 'puter automatically.

I still don't know how to make a movie with mine, after 2 years. Haven't read the book after installing the software.

Being a creative guy and always in pursuit of new knowledge...I would really LOVE to know how to do EVERYTHING on the puter. I remember back when I was in Hollywood and the puter thing in movies was just coming on strong....man...it boggled my mind. I wanted to know ALL that stuff. Alas....I left Hollywood (a choice I gladly made) without ever learning any of it. Now that I'm older it seems that new things keep coming up daily and I can't keep up. Sucks to be a dinosaur. :yup:

Your SS is a mobile computer. Like it or not, this tech is insidiously being dropped on us old folks. Take California's emission rules that you can only upgrade the engine with an engine of the same year or newer. Fact is, that some older engines are cleaner but older. Simple for bureaucrats, bad for the owner on a shoe-string budget.

The whole world is moving in that direction...bureaucrats will run us into the ground. There will be no more quality and people will forget what simple, good things were. It's already happening. And we are the worse for it. If I were a young man today I would be head to head with these idiots in Washington. As it is...the young folks simply don't know what they have missed and what they continue to miss. Take me back to the wagon era and leave me there.
