Doubt it, Blackie. I'm no good at this puter stuff as you know. No camera and if I did have one I wouldn't know how to get a pic on here. I think it is the power cord coming from the back stuff that plugs into the radio somewhere.

That was probably where the amp that powered the rear speakers and sub was located. Dig around in there and look for a set of RCA plugs that look something like these.

Also look for anything that might look like this stuff.

There should be a heavy gauge wire, that will have a fuesable link in it, that is not factory(usually a transparent red wire like in the pic above) running to the battery or the distribution block on the passenger inner fender, eight beside the radiator overflow tank. If there is no wire there or hooked to the battery, then you got robbed!

Also, look for the amp, that is supposed to be in the car that powers the subwoofer, it might be on the box that houses the sub, under one of the seats or in the toolbox in the drivers side of the very back. I have a feeling, he robbed you of the amp, thinking that the old guy would not know the difference or even car if you did. You paid for it, it was part of the car and in the listing.

    Ampy...

You have the steadyest hand of anyone I've ever known. That picture is REAMRKABLE!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! ALMOST FANTASY!!!
How could you stand there and snap a pic of that poor mans' tent falling down and not lend a HAND??? It was colasping as that poor lady was smiling, and there were ants crawling all over her HIGH HEELS in tall grass!!! Looked like she might need a potty stop as her feet were turned inward a little!!!
    But yet she smiled(what a soldier...). :p
Looks like she had a nervious smile as that snake crawled thru that high grass to get to the little mouse on her 6. See the little blur???
But you kept right on shooting!!!
Eye of the TIGER type stuff!!!
    GOOD MAN...dedicated, unswayed, unrelenting!!!
In search of a super PIC. Photojournalism at its' best!!!:camera:
I generally don't care for FORDS, but that package was...would be...
    Too good to pass up!!!
A set of wheels and tires like that we just don't see anymore, were they painted or powdercoated???
Was that camera on a tripod or bipod (got to be a joke in there somewhere...) ???
Oh well, great pic...You Showoff!!! :party5:
And the car ain't bad either!!!
The wheels, look like the ones off the Dodge Rams only smaller & painted...(been coveting those for my Durango, in chrome).
    Later,
    Bruce
Ps. If I made you guys look back at the pic, serves you right for not taking in all the beauty to start with...How many coats of clear you have on that car???:burnout:
    You Da Man...
And she is...BRAVE and A TROOPER...!!! Good Catch!!!
Pss. Blackie, nice post about the cables...

Actually.....I'm pretty sure that's Amp in the background of that pic. Amp does have a friend that shoots STELLAR pix! He showed me a bunch of them on his laptop. The guy shoots amazing stuff and is a natural with no training or anything. I was in the creative visual biz all my life and I can tell you...this kid has talent with a camera. Amp's good himself but I think he would defer to his friend when it comes to camera work.
Amp started a poker run in his area and it is growing every year. This kid with the camera shoots pix of the cars that show up and they are really great shots. Very impressive.

Good to hear. Always nice when one of us finds a deal that is as good or better than we expected.

HAHA yeah fox is right I am walking around in the back of that picture, I was headed back to the cooler....it was "beer 30". The tent was just fine, it was mine lol, had it setup to make better shade.

The wheels are actully American Racing Shelby wheels, came in that color, believe it or not they were 20x10 rear, and 20x8 front.

HAHA the car was a beauty, bought it used with only like 12k on it. I had a twin turbo setup in the garage for it before I sold it, was a fun car....I am a huge Mustang guy, just cant beat the sound IMO.....

Oh and onto the stereo setup, there is a 4 channel amp for the rear speakers, and a Mono for the sub, I am willing to guess, when he put the stock stereo back in that he did not connect the rear RCA's for the amp, or the remote wire 1 or the other, I would say that you will need an aftermarket stereo to make the current setup work, or unhook the amp and just wire it back to stock, NOTE....if you do call me I will take that stereo stuff off your hands!

You can wire in the amp with the stock stereo, but it is a little more complicated and you may loose some control of the fade and balance......

Wait, Amp. Are you telling me that he took the Kicker OUT and put the stock back in??? That's not what he said at pick up. I'm getting real confused with all the help I'm getting. I thought the plug just stuck in somewhere and it was good to go. Please let me know if something s missing. I'm NOT above going back to his house with a few people.

Well....there you go, guys. I TOLD you Amp was a stellar guy! He saw my above post and called me on the phone to explain the stereo system and put my mind at ease. I appreciate the info from Blackie too. And all the other advice. But...like Amp said on the phone...it's just easier to explain with a call than it is online. Thanks, Amp. Again! :thumbs2:

Does anyone know the production numbers of the 96 Caprice wagon? Or where I can find that info? I'm wondering how many were actually made in 96? Not many I don't think.

    FOUND THEM!
No wonder guys are after the 96 Caprice Wagon! It was the last of the GM big boys AND.....

They only made 485 of them!

    They made 8,962 Roadmasters.

I have the production numbers from 91 to 96 for all the GM wagons but the chart prints all weird from the PDF. If you want production numbers for a specific wagon 91-96 just ask...Caprice, Custom Cruiser and Roadmaster.
