My other 88 was a Mark Cross, but I actually prefer the optional vinyl buckets.:yup:

Really. May I ask why? I've looked at some that I thought about buying but they weren't MC's so I passed. What do you like better about the non-MC's?

the MC interior looks ratty easily even wit low miles, especially the lighter colors. Plus you couldn't get a floor shifter with the MC interior on the wagons.

I've always liked the looks of this wagon. What can you guys tell me about your experience with the turbo 4 and the transmission on this car?
    Thanks

The A413 is a great transmission, basically a front drive 727. My old 88 ran 14.20's on a stock A413 with 100k+ miles on it. When you intercool it you have to install a trans cooler anyways. I usually use a flexalite. I'm just getting started on this one and by spring will be in the 13's in the 1/4. Shoot me your email and I'll email you a video of a 1/4 mile run on it.

Here my old 88 in 2007 at SDAC 18 in Detroit doing a quick burnout.

Wow! Dyed in the wool Moparian! :biglaugh: Nice array of wagons. I love my Fairmont, but I've always admired Mopars, especially classics and your's was one of the best woody treatments, bar none!:Welcome:

Welcome, nice car... I was just working on a n/a lebaron woody just yesterday at a friends house. Nice cars they are.
Got a question that you might have an answer for, do you know if a 91 acclaim with the 2.5 I4 would have an A413 also? I was looking at this lebaron and it appeared to be the same trans.

Ok, thanks. One of my many dreams is to locate the turbo III or IV motor and drop that in
Make a spirit r/t on steroids out of an acclaim... no one will see or expect that one.
