So about a month ago I decided to create a life journey with my 65 Belvedere wagon. Pictures of people, famous or not and friends. I made a removable panel that goes on the rear of the front seat for autographs. I figure it would be cool lasting memories rather than just an autographed photo.
Ritchie Ramone from...well.....the Ramones. A favorite of mine. Got to see them multiple times in the 80s and 90s.
Sam Jones AKA Flash Gordan. He got a kick out of my wagon and told us stories of his father's Belvedere wagon when he was a kid.
Two former members from one of my favorite heavy metal bands growing up. Megadeth. They also loved the wagon and took pictures of it and talked with us for over half an hour.
Jeb Stuart Duke (Chris Hansel). He was the motocross Duke cousin from the Dukes of Hazzard. He also played Captain California in one of my favorite cartoons as a kid.
Went to a Horror Con and met 2 of the Leatherfaces from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Bob Elmore and Brett Wagner posing with me and my oldest son.
Your wagon seems to attract exactly who'd you imagine it would. All that's missing is Alice Cooper (the 1st Lady would do). I thought, the entire Ramones band croaked. Up 'til now, I didn't know there were any survivors. It's good to see that Cherrie Curry is still thin, like real runaways mostly are, and not whaled out like both biologically female B-52s members have turned out
A lot of local car shows, concerts and cons. I do that a lot so I get to meet a lot of people. It's fun when they come out and see the old wagon.
