    ^^^ A 1963 Chrysler Newport Town & Country (hardtop) wagon for Massachusetts State Police? I'll bet those patrol guys loved driving it......

    Yeah, since back then, no police agency paid for A/C...so it was "460" A/C for them.

    Well the good news it’s not Arizona so the amount of ac required days was probably nominal. Even in their Eddy Nelson outfits.

    Our friend has a '56 Suburban virtually identical to the one in the picture. Her late husband purchased it with a 6L and 4L60e trans installed but not functioning and he completed the installation. She still uses it to tow her '57 Silver Streat 17' trailer they purchased from me and restored. She's quite the lady, she hooks it up, hauls it to various vintage trailer events, and used the 'burb to run around the local towns for supplies etc while there. She's just over 5' tall and the 'burb makes her look even smaller.
