I'm really bummed I just could not be in the right place, at the right time, with the right cash. Usually, toys like that, while not Unobtainium, are speculative, not etched in stone, so they're always higher.

 

After 55 years, the Bronco finally gets its own true identity. Purists refuse to recognize an independent front suspension as being true to its heritage, though.

Funnily enough, Twin I-beam suspension IS an independent suspension design. But short-long arm and other independent suspension designs have proven to be much better and much lighter designs than TIB.

Picked up a large 60's collection of diecast, plastic and rubber that included a few wagons. Started restoring a few and adding to my collection.

What are all the pastel red, yellow and blue vehicles? They look like toys that Peeps would play with.

 

The pastel vehicles are vintage Renwal plastic product School Bus #123 and City bus #124.

Nice ones! That blue wagon with the horns on the hood I have in red. As for the pastel colors;I have an oil tanker truck in pink from Banner.Had it since I was a kid. The Cadillac Nomad is rubber also.
