Did SuperFly drive one of these? I would think only the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase could afford such luxury. Nice to see the Million dollar man still hanging in there.

Would love to have this. Am old but still too young to identify with the pre WW2 Dusenbergs and Packards that are probably the hight point of the art and engineering of the American car. But I rode in one of these when it was new and it was a just wonderful. Smooth, quiet, faster than you would expect, and the leather interior was from another world. It had swagger and an effortless charisma. It was cool.

Yeah - me too. When I was a kid it seemed like these rides were like something the captains of industry would have driven if they were around in the 70's versus the teens and 20's. I associate these with a few doctors and physicians that were in our neighborhood who owned them.

Something about these Eldos come off as automotive porn to me. Kind of like they don't hide their conspicuous consumption and garishness. You surely wouldn't have confused it with anything else.

A lot of car to love. I passed up on a 74 like this about 10 years ago, and it was fairly decent, and probably the only entree I would ever have into the world of these Eldos.

I know it’s an oxymoron to say tasteful ‘70’s, but there is nothing more refined than a yellow Cadillac. This exudes class, without being pushy. You can just see Mrs Gotrocks pulling up to the valet and the Beverly Wilshire for her bridge luncheon.

Yeah, no me neither jwdtenn. I guess people’s taste is what it is. Just don’t be disappointed if you can’t unload it. Somewhere there’s got to be a pimp museum that needs this car.
