I found this street...back then, this building sat at the West end of Havermale Island, where the Great Northern Railway had their Spokane passenger station and some of the operations that went with passenger trains, such as a commissary for the dining cars, Railway Express Agency and U.S. Post Office operations, etc. Behind the billboards is the trestle that GN used to get over the West end of Spokane Falls; The street curves to the photo's left before crossing the falls itself. The building on the left is still there, now the home of the Mobius Science Center. The buildings to the right have all since been razed, providing parking for the park that had been the Expo '74 site (I was there as a kid!), and the alignment of Post Street has been curved over to the right side, with a grassy area and path built right next to the Science Center building.
