I have the rear of a 68 Cougar hanging inside my garage on the wall, plan on one day doing the same with the front end some day as I have hoards of extra parts for 67-68. Owned one 69, 2 67's ( still have one in pieces ) and can't remember now how many 68's. Late 80's - early 90's they were still plentiful at almost give away prices, the first cars I started flipping. That 70 is NICE, the redlines IMO don't work with it though. The family car was a non XR7 70, I still memories of Dad putting me inside to stay put, me standing on the seat pretending to drive as the car was in the showroom. Was the first stick I ever drove, 351c 4spd and I was all over the gravel roads Exactly on appearance minus the mags as the one below with white hounds tooth roof and seats. Manitoba rust, that and getting rear ended on a 45 degree angle by a dump truck ended it's life 1980
