Should've saved that for Flag Day.

Beautiful Bel Air. Wish I had a time machine.

Here's a then and now for you....

This is the Chardon, OH dealer my Buick sold new at in 1975. I went to a show on the square in Chardon last year and a photographer was snapping pics of all the show cars rolling in. Just so happens it's the same angle as the old photo of the dealership I found online. A homecoming 42 years later! IMG_0358.PNG IMG_0360.JPG IMG_0359.PNG

It was a smaller dealer...I wonder how many new Estate Wagons would be on the lot at any given time. Just a few I suppose.

That's really neat. The building is almost unrecognizable today. Cool that it is still there though.
    Thanks for sharing. :thumbs2:

You can tell by the look on his face that that's a hard bargainer. I would hate to be that poor salesman who's probably having the thought, on the back of his mind, of getting the domestic rolling pin applied to his noggin, if he keeps getting skinflint types like that until the end of the month

That's a '56 Bel-Air. at the side of the building. So, we know at least when the photo was taken. If that visitor parking his '53 Mercury was contemplating trading it in, I'd say he had bad taste
