Hi all. I just got an 84 Pontiac Parisienne from a dealer in Pheonix, AZ. Car has 52,000 original miles and was sitting in a non-conditioned garage for 9 years. Bringing it back to life for the last month. Getting there! Love it too! This looks like a great forum and I look forward to lots of interesting stuff here

Welcome to the forum! I lived in Tulsa from 1978-1986, and my parents bought a brand-new 1978 Pontiac Grand Safari wagon from Ernie Miller Pontiac there...I was 4 at the time! Ha! Still have a lot of good memories from Tulsa (Bell's Amusement Park, Casa Bonita, Crystal's Pizza, the Riverwalk, Peaches Records and Tapes, and the Camelot Hotel)...good times! Glad there is still a Poncho wagon running around that city!

We lived on 55th St in the Sungate neighborhood, behind a shopping center called The Farm.

My father's best friend liked our silver Safari so much, he bought a brown one for his family. Here in our back yard on 55th St in Tulsa:

Wow, thanks for sharing those great images! And those great wagons! Reminds me of my family and their Oldsmobiles - but even further back in the 1960s. This is taking some work but when I get the stumbling figured out I'll be daily driving the wagon. These are a bit more complicated than the 1960s era cars I have owned. But this rides like a dream.

We really like Tulsa and found a home in Fulton. Still learning about the city. Great old neighborhoods. Thanks again

Oh, one more thing...the Tulsa roads are SO bumpy, probably more than in you days here. But the big Pontiac takes them in stride...makes it so much better.

Thanks for the greeting! I see you have a Fury wagon? Haven't seen one for may years. Almost bought one in '75. I didn't realize how much I missed having a big wagon. It's great to drive one again. Your pics look great!

You're welcome. Yes, I have a Fury wagon. This one has been in the family since it was new. It's alot of fun.
You're not alone. I don't hardly ever see another 64 Plymouth, let alone a wagon.
    Thank you.
