Looks good underneath...looks like it's been oiled periodically. Did you say that was a repaint, CatSaf? Needs some things but Over all, I would say the car looks pretty nice.

Good EYE! :clap:I had forgotten about that stupid card holder!

Oh, I am NOT expecting anywhere near 8K! The offers for 8K-50K were years ago, when the car was in MUCH better shape! The estate guy found some info on this car, through some antique car program - and is planning to ask $6,500 - with the hopes of getting around 5-5,500 for it.

Truthfully, I'd be shocked to get 3K for it! So we'll see? Pics behind the blisters? Sorry, not sure what you're asking. But I am willing to take more pics, just let me know. :)

Yes, exterior has been painted - and IMO needs another paint job. I found receipts for this, looks like she had it painted late 90ies, early 2000's? Need to see receipt again to know what year.

I got the catalytic convertor removed from my wagon and she ran alot better:dance:. As long as your car is over 25 yrs old in Texas u don't need emissions testing to be legal.

By the way that wagon makes mine look kinda beat up. Friken sweet. I cant believe your selling it.

Inside the wheel well behind this blister, has the rust gone through, etc? You may find the rocker under the stainless trim is in the same shape if not worse. Dirt and dust settle, collect water

Like the others have said, the under-carriage looks pretty damned good, all things considered.Exhaust pipes can rust within months of getting the car.The outsides of rear brake drums do the same. The issues are in the paint at crucial areas...Considering the age of the car,it's not bad off at all.The wear and tear, here and there,is to be expected. The dogs didn't hurt it that much...And one DOES have to wonder about that cardholder thing on the door. Was Gramma a salesperson or real estate agent?...

That cardholder on the door is a service-reminder holder. Rather than sticking a decal on the inside of the door jamb; or like they do now, on the upper inside of the windshield, this was to remind her of the next scheduled oil change, by a removeable card.

How obtrusive! I guess they weren't thinking that the car would get old enough to be a collectors item and weren't worried about ruining it...Maybe it's just glued on there and will come right off.No mess,no fuss,no harm,no foul.... Used to know a group of people who liked to to say, "No blood,no foul."

Looks like there is a problem with the tail gate o this one. You can see in the ebay pic it does not line up good, looks low by at least an inch on the pass side.

I can't remember if you mentioned the clam shell gate and window CatStaf....how do they work? If they work well make sure you talk about that and ofcourse.....lets see pics of the clam shell open closed etc.:yup:

Thank you for your kind words. I wish you could buy her too! As I'd love to see her go to someone who will take care of her, and has a passion for these cars. :)

Thx! I will follow this, as hopefully it will give me an idea what to start the price at - should I decide to go the eBay route. Although it looks like mine is in a lot better shape (no offense to the guy selling it). I hope his sells well, because that will give me some hope of getting something decent out of mine. :)

Oh CRAP Teddy! Now you want a video! :biglaugh: Clam shell gate and window both work just fine, and are aligned. Doesn't go up and down like a speed demon, but both work. :)
