So your back home, how is it? Was the trip enjoyable? How did you get home? The place you left in Florida, was it rented or is this something you have to now sell? Was there any adventures along the way?
Now you need to get the mods or Mr. Wagon himself to change the title of the thread to "Finally home."
We actually got there--------here June 25th. Two and a half weeks sure went fast. I'm ready for a Florida vacation!
The best adventure was keeping our 1 1/2 year old grand daughter happy with DVD's and milk. I think she drank two gallons of milk in two days. Having adjoining motel rooms was fun. Isabella kept going back and forth from room to room. We went over 600 miles the first day. Somehow they nearly ended up in St Louis. We were near the arch. They drive by GPS and have no idea where they are! When I yelled "turn here" my son said I was wrong but he turned which was 155 around St Louis and north. An extra 75 miles or more! This house is just right and we're glad we bought the furniture too. Got a free small computer desk and a chair so I'm back in business with real cable hook ups.
That GPS can be great. It can also be utterly ridicules. Glad to hear you had a safe trip. It looks like your grand daughter had fun, which I am sure translated into you all having fun as well. I'm happy to hear you are all safe and sound and back in the swing of things. At least as far as the SWF is concerned.
Ended up putting the tower style computer in the living room next to a window. Now I can visit, look out two windows, and get on it at rediculous times without bothering Dollie.
Now how cute is that?! Does she know there is a dead cat on her lap? Good to hear from you and that you are home.
I cheated. Old photos. My computer desk is behind the sofa where the floor lamp is. I sent the grandson home. Found out he was named after Greyson on the TV show "Cougars". We didn't have TV for years. Lots of what seems to be tame rabbits and squirrels but no deer or crows so far.
I grew up with wabbits. That's cool when you can get close and make friends. I also love old neighborhoods with tall trees and plenty of space. That really is cool.
