Seven hour job to do the heater core on the Magnum, so yeah I hear you.

The real questions are why does an 05 Magnum or 04 Dodge truck with under 70,000 miles then again with 73,000 need a new heater core?
I've driven 50 year old cars with a perfectly good heater core that could be changed in a few hours if necessary.

If my truck had the original heater core, and I believe it did, then it lasted 160K miles. The truck is a '99.
And I might get it rebuilt because it appears to be better quality than the replacement Spectre brand.
Going to get Norm to help me put the dash back in today.
