    Hello
I`m a 65 model male from Telemark/ Norway. Norway have some of the highest car taxes in the world, but in the eighties it was possible to import a US stationwagon duty free, registred as a van... . An then a lot of Norwegian get acquaintance with the fantastic GM ( Oldsmobile ) 5,7 L ( 350 CID ) DIESEL. A short Version is that road assistent in Norway had good times. I bought my first Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wit this engine in 1989. Later i monted a Detroit 6,2 diesel in this car. And after that i have own a lot of GM full size wagons, and for me this car is a life time love story.
Today i have keep 2 cars, that both is highlights in their year.
1965 Pontiac Bonneville Custom Safari, bought in 1997. I use this car in many year, but last year this car is get his dormancy, and i hope i get energy to finish this car in NeXT year. :whew:

In 2009 i bought a 1973 Buick estate wagon. I use this car as a daily driver first year, but last year i do a rolling restoring. This car is converted to LPG, and last Winter i put a th 200 R4 gearbox in it. In this time i do a repaint, and serious , i love this clamshell. they have a timeless design i really like, and it will be great to drive it With New Paint, and polished moulding. As all other clamshell owner, i hope someone can help me With tips or ideas, what i should do With the destroyed rear window wheatherstrip. :dancing:

As you will find out, the rubber trim is not always easy to find anyplace.
