well my wife had an anterior hip replacement in june and things seemed to be going well. she was up and walking the same day. a few weeks later and were playing basketball. well when i came back from up north in oct she was ready for hip #2. she put it off so we could go on vacation but youcould see she was sore. she did make it up to the feet of the statue of liberty which is 6 floors and up until the columbia sc zoo on new years day she wouldnt use a stroller or can or wheelchair, finally she gave in and got her a wheelchair for the zoo so she couuld have fun instead of being in pain. well the surgery is set for tommorrow and her incompetent primary doctor has lost 2 of her urine samples , so hopefully when we get there at 5 am and she takes a 3rd nothing will stop her surgery
Hope everything goes well for your DW, 59. Hip pain and not being able to enjoy walking can't be pleasant. Let her know were pulling for her.
URINE FOR EVERYONE! I'm younger than Model T, and something hurts all the time, but I don't complain much, because it could be worse. Unlike my mother in law (90) I still know what day it is and what planet I'm on. At least I think I do anyway. Best wishes for Mrs '59! You guys have a lot more miles to travel together.
Man, when she gets back on her feet, you'll have to keep her away from those bargain sales! May God guide the surgeon's hand to get it right!
Hip #2 I'm late. Hopefully the hip surgery is over and things will be better as your wife struggles to waddle down the hospital hall. Remember that well. We've got company and been slowly packing so I am not on as much. In fact I bent over and put my own back out. I'm using a walker again after five years. Damned it's fun getting old. But I still remember most things. I'd really like to forget a lot of them. Anyway good luck to your wife. I take water pills so will be glad to send some urine to your family doctor.
thanks everyone for your prayers it's just been a long day but she went in at 9 for surgery .done by eleven and walked with a walker at 430. Good thing is the only pain left is me she is sore but no longer clicks when she walks . it definately is a great sign
Great News! It's amazing to me that they can cut you open, replace an entire joint, and have you up and walking the same day! Wife got a knew knee a couple of years ago.......
Great news. You make it sound so simple and easy. It really is a mazing. I don't even have real scares. Just tiny lines where they super glued me back together. Wanna see?
Good thing you chimed in when you did! You were about to receive a whole lot of urine. Now that's love. Glad to hear she is doing well. Take care Mrs. 59 wagon man, hope your out shoot hoops soon.
