Do you or someone you know have a wagon you’ve been meaning to fix up but just never got around to? A Kingswood for example. Something that’s buried in your backyard collecting dust? A car that you’ve had since childhood and just can’t part with?

We're looking for people in GA, NC, SC, AL, or TN with unique cars and interesting stories for a new TV show where we put in the work to get these cars back on the road. We'll hear your story, then take your car and fix it up for you for a fraction of what it would usually cost.

If you think you and your car fit the bill, send us a brief background story of your car and situation.

    please contact us at: carrestorationcasting@gmail.com

Arizona is not ideal, but I guess we're open if the car fits. Feel free to shoot me a PM with some info about it.
    Thanks!

sounds a bit suspect to me....... 3 post as of now, no intro, no info about this new TV show info nothing just " looking for, PM Me", location says LA but wants cars from the East Coast and AZ is not ideal.............from LA?? And all that with a gmail.com

All I could find using Google was what appears to be the same (same poster maybe, ??) yet looking for Canadian or Great Brittan car owners claiming to be from the discovery channel joined/posted as a guest.............

Someone used the "notify moderator" button, so I came to take a look. I am already familiar with this, and I have been in contact with the person looking for the car(s). I believe that it is legit, and being that they are not asking for money, or any type of commitment, I can see no reason not to co-operate with them initially. If this turns out to be a scam, we will find out soon enough. I have offered up one of my Corvairs to them, and will be forwarding pictures this weekend. Hopefully my car will be one of those that they pick for restoration. With reality shows in strong favor in the US television market, I can see where this project will garner a strong viewing audience. Just look at "Counting Cars" in Vegas as an example. It started as just a side trip for the Pawn Stars to have them fix up a car, and it turned out to be a complete program on its own. Same with "Ricks Restorations".

I've got an excellent candidate (no, not mine) - Wixom61's (David) '72 Buick 2-door Estate Wagon project. Here's David's project thread:

    http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6408

He's in Dallas, Texas, and has had a hard time getting re-invigorated to the project after some setbacks (like some hail damage).

Here's the last pic we have of it:

PS: I'll send him a PM....

The "fraction of what it would cost" may be the taxes that would be owed for the products and services that are provided. Old uncle Sam wants his moola.

I'm in SC, but I can only be involved in this production if XZbit is the show host. I feel Pimp My Ride needs to be back on the air!

It does sound a little suspect, so I'm proceeding with caution here. We are in possession of a '73 Toyota Land Cruiser, if that would fit the bill. My father-in-law purchased it new. He gave it to my wife and I earlier this year. I'm located in North Georgia. Sending you an Email.

I also have my Dad's '67 Chevy fleetside short bed truck. My Granddad purchased the truck in '69. Then, my Dad got it in 1984, when my Granddad passed away.
