    I just showed this to my Uncle Marsh, who is a retired CHP officer/Idaho SP trooper, and what the roof-mounted speedo was for was to show trailing drivers what the actual speed of the wagon was so people, who had never before driven on a then-new interstate, could learn what the feel of speed was at the posted speed limit. Anyone on here from Connecticut know what the speed limit was at the opening of those three interstates back then?

    Haven't heard of this one before....
    Apparently some sort of old tourist trap on Hwy 191, south of Moab, Utah. Still there. Here it is today, from the other side of the rock. And I still don't see no hole......

    Thanks Krash for the old and new Hole N Rock photos. We studied both sides and still don't see no stinkin hole. Maybe someone plugged it up!

    Also GTW we stayed at the Holiday Motel in the Dells around that time period. We used to camp and motel there a lot.

    The 58 Chevy panel photo is mirrored but still looks nice.
