Why is he so stingy with the pictures. He states an honest appraisal of the interior so it's not like a potential buyer would find out something he doesn't expect to see. C'mon, the more pictures one offers, the more a potential buyer can decide if he wants to pursue it. Sheesh!!
It does look to be in fine shape.

Where is this thing located? I've seen Craigslist ads for it posted in Seattle, Oregon and Salt Lake City.

The car looks like it used to be gold. On those, you have to watch for rust hidden under the lower body chrome. My '71 Caprice sedan had that chrome and I always wondered if it was rusty under there, but it was a southern car and seemed pretty solid. My old '69 Executive Safari had that chrome as well.

Looks like it also has tilt wheel. Gate looks strange, it has the chrome handle as if manual gate, but the switch itself looks like it has power gate. Also someone has added an antenna to the back.

I gave him a ring-a-ding awhile back on this sweet '71. It's a dude selling it for his father in law. In the first set of photos I seemed to notice some bubbling at the bottom of the rear windows, when asked about it he admitted that it was rust; both under the window sills and on the inside. He was honest about it, which is cool, and probably why its still not sold & there is a price drop. This would make a sweet hauler/shop wagon/grocery getter...or maybe all my typewriters....:2_thumbs_up_-_anima put a sweet faded shop decal on the doors, it's got a hitch!

    Ah. Thanks.

Is the chrome something that can be removed to check for rust?

Interesting car. Looks like a re-paint for sure. If I were to check it out, I would want to bring a magnet to check for bondo. Air doesn't work (Belt is dis-connected) and I saw at least 1 hole below the Rear Glass Molding, but it still looks like a pretty good car. If it were in my neighborhood, I would probably go ahead and bring it home for $1500.
