Seller says it smokes on start...needs valve guides...again, maybe. Some of these 307's can use oil like you wouldn't believe and you can't tell unless you pull the stick. The cat gets so hot that it doesn't smoke...although it will when first started. In my case it wouldn't matter because I would be swapping in a different engine.

One little thing that is bothering me about this sale is that the Auto Check is not provided. Usually they are. Sure, you can buy one but, if the car is right, why not provide it as proof?

I don't know how high you are willing to go. You may want to email me that figure. If it goes over your figure and is still under mine I will gert in. Otherwise I will just watch to see how you do. I have a hunch there will be a lot of sniping at the end.

I got to thinking about this post of mine, alph. If you don't feel comfortable sending me a PM of your highest bid don't worry about it. I will just watch till the end and hope I don't go over yours at the end. You likely have nothing to worry about....since I am so far away my bid will probably be way under what you are willing to bid anyway. I have a hunch that ... at the end, it will shoot right past what I would want to bid anyway.

 

I don't ebay so I have no clue, but with 23 hours left........ wouldn't at least 1 bid entered be a good idea, if one of our members wants it?

Good luck, alph! After I wrecked my 88 Electra I looked for years for another and couldn't find a nice one. Now ... you find one and IN THE COLOR YOU WANT. If you love it you better jump it. Then again...I hate buying without a hands on inspection. Are you close enough to go see the car?
