No such thing as a '58 Chev Impala wagon. Could be either Nomad, Brookwood or Yeoman. My guess is it's a Yeoman.

Krash is quite correct. Mea culpa. I went by what the ad says.

Yoeman was the base model, and was the one with the least trim, so my guess is Krash is right. Nice looking, but somehow the price seems high for a car that 'just needs restoring'.

I wasn't trying to rag on you, JWD - only the ad poster. LOL

We've got to keep these dudes honest!

.....this wagon was dechromed so could be any of the models made. And definitely not a Impala as like said there were none. I've had about 30 58's so know these cars well.

That one must be the 4-wheel drive version, Man that is one large set of tires....

But seriously a nice looking wagon. I like it.

    58 Chevy Wagon

Identical to my grandpa's car. His was the Brookwood. Can't tell from the photos for this car though. Here's what my grandpas car looked like. 235 6 banger, 3 on the tree.

    Phil

Note: edited to say 235 CID.

The earliest car of my Dad's that I have a concious recollection of was his bronze '58 Nomad wagon. My little sister (then about 18 months old) puked all over me and the floor of the rear seat. I was three. Both of us riding merrily along, unbuckled, on the car floor! The good old days...!
