No, it's not boring. Your answer and the others are actually very interesting. How do I think of these threads ?
Thanks everyone for the input. Now you members who don't have an avatar are thinking. And thinking is good for your brain! Notice, I changed mine already ?
Another thing, with all of these station wagon dog lovers it's amazing how many use cats or the word cat. (y)

When I see yours it reminds me of those brass shims used on old babbit rods and mains.

I have a huge collection of avatars I have used on various forums over the years. My current one is most appropriate for here, but here are a few of my favorites:

Haven't changed mine in about a year or more, so I put a more updated pic of me and the Colony Park as my new avatar for the first time in a coon's age.

    a very happy coincidence.
one of my favorite memories of south fla was when i was 20. i had my jeep wrangler. I was (still am..just dont own one) one of those guys that would take the doors off his jeep and leave them off for the summer (with a bikini top you only get a lil wet in a torrential downpour). so on saturdays i would go drive up a1a listening to either buffett, marley, or smooth jazz. couldn't get enough of it.... the freedom, the salty wind, the sound of wind through palm trees..... I just wish Jenn liked it.

I've been away and just spotted this thread. My name, as many have already found out, is a nic that a group of property guys in the TV biz gave me when I was in Hollywood. It stuck so it's a real name now.
Hey Scout...I really love that statue and the way that the Scout is looking down on the city! Sorry I wasn't around yet to enjoy it with Cat when it was first installed.:D

grandmothers are special people in our lives. When they are down it is tough to watch and we realize that we too will get to that stage in our lives. Heck, Cat is already darned close isn't he?

Moderating a forum, or more, is a fair amount of work given there are other things that have to be done in ones life as well.

Good luck with your grandmother. As for an avatar, your being the founder of this forum it seems very appropriate to be running with wagonmaster. It would be hard to come up with something more fitting, unless of course you were in to dolls like REV :rednose:

Stefan good luck to you and your grandmother. Family is right at the top of any list and sometimes takes much time.
As for Safari's mention of getting older, recently there is not a day goes by my wife and I don't talk about our ages and "tomorrow". There comes a time when the tomorrows get shorter. Enjoy your todays and remember those yesterdays. Good luck.
