    Here is all the paperwork
    [IMG]

It includes the original order form, factory inspection sheet, dealer inspection sheet, owners manual, factory warranty registration, original sale invoice, factory tire maintenance info packet. I also have every receipt for anything that was done to the wagon. I have not cleaned the interior at all. After buffing the exterior I decided it was time to watch some football. I will work on that this week

Thanks DanR63. I bought it sight unseen and by pictures only. I was really nervous it was not going to be as nice as the Buick I just sold. I really liked my Buick but have always wanted an 8 passenger wagon which this one is. All in all I believe its as good/possibly better since I have so much more documentation on this one. The Buick was a two owner wagon/same family and this one was special ordered by elderly lady it I bought it from. It has a great history and that's what I like about it

I would have guessed the brakes sticking as well from sitting, except that he said he pushed or rolled the car to where it is now since it wouldn't move under it's own power.
Though it may not have a cat converter on it, the results could be the same with a muffler or resonator as well as a stuck heat riser, or a rodent's nest in the tail pipe.

The transmission slipping or not putting the power to the rear wheels is probably the most obvious. Whether the trans is shot or whether it's just low on trans fluid, it probably won't move much, if at all under its own power.

Thats a real nice wagon. It looks like the twin to a nice one that has been for sale here in Virginia this summer.

Well there was a puddle of antifreeze under the wagon last night. After some looking the radiator tank is bloated and split the tank seam. $109 at Autozone and the new plastic/aluminum radiator is installed. Temporary fix till I can have the original brass one repaired

The exhaust sounds great! I just had a set of flowmaster 40's installed on one of our roadmasters and I left the resonators on. I LIKE YOURS BETTER!! While mine is OK yours has a much more throaty sound.

It would appear that a high torque warmed over Pontiac 455 has enough torque to break flexplates. Yes, sigh, that is plural. I believe from everything I've read that it has to do with the need for an adapter and thus spacers for the torque converter to the flexplate.

Looks like an engine pull is in my short term future. Dang, I was hoping to not have to do this right now but guess it has to be done. Not sure if I'll put a T400 in it, or do an entire engine/trans update to LS status - that was in the longer term plans but may now be the way to do this.

    Oh well..............

Okay Safari. Have these been new flywheels or used? And are we sure there is not a problem with the torque convertor not being squared on the mounting pads? I have had a convertor be 1/4 inch off on the bolt pads causing the flywheel to be twisted and eventually cracking it.
