Hello everyone. I never thought I would join a station wagon forum board, or that I would ever even want to own a Wagon. I always thought station wagons were for families, and old people. Well I guess I now fit into those categories and the look of old station wagons really do it for me. I do not own a wagon as of yet, but I am finally in the market for one. I own 2 1964 Buick Lesabres 1 2dr, and 1 4dr. I also own a 63 lesabre vert. I am currently lookin for a 63 or 64 Buick Lesabre Estate wagon. Preferably, I want a project but I am open to all offers. If anyone knows where I can get one let me know. I live in Tacoma Wa and I am in the US Army, Have been doing this for 10 years. Have a wife and a 4 year old son that loves helpin me with my cars. Hope to learn some stuff here, and hopefully be a owner of a wagon soon.

Welcome to the forums. Adding a Buick wagon to your stable would make a nice a collection. :) Good luck with the search.

Speaking of Mercury's, what other Fox wagon models had the swing up tailgate window. LTD-lite, Granada, Zephyr? I have to change mine, eventually.

Thanks. At least I know a guy with a parts car here. I think he's got plans for it, though. I did see one in the JY part of town, that has one, but the guy wants to sell the whole car. I think it might be a Cougar, but the dogs are mean mudders if you jump the fence. :slap:

They don't start with a push start either.:biglaugh::biglaugh:

I might be getting a small 2-door BMW. But I know my wife will fight me for it. She HATES auto-magics. If it comes to that, I'll have to find a 4-speed for my Squire. I like Stds too. She just hates automatics MORE. :rofl2:

My grandfather had both a 49 and 52 Special with the Dyna-Flow transmissions. Both with straight 8's. They sure did ride well. I think they weighed as much as a freight train. Very smooth.

Very nice cars, my grandfather had a 53 century, ( I believe) when I was a kid. Parents have owned more buicks than I can remember. Now it's my turn to pass it on.

I had a couple of Rivieras. A '63 and a '81. Comfy? - oh yeah. Well appointed cars.
