    1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona Wagon 63 - $1200 (ELMA)

    Make me a reasonable offer

63 Studebaker Surf wagon, retractable roof. Yes it's true, that's what it is. It's a project and it's complete. Barn fresh. restoration needed. So when was the last time you saw one of these? V8 Automatic Has not been licensed since the early 90's. No it isn't driveable, so please don't call and ask if it is LOL. I do not really know the history, but it's registered in Washington State and comes with clean title. I have numerous pics but please don't waste my time if you are not serious. I have all the parts and pieces for it, the chrome and trim is mostly all removed as if someone was starting restoration. Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours. No parts sold separately. The motor turns freely, but the starter just clicks.

Holy crap, what a mess. All the kings soldgers and all the kings men couldn't put this back together agan.

I always stay away from cars that people gave up on.

The guy would get more from the recycler then what he's asking for it.

If he can get $1,200 bucks for that from the scrap guy, I want to know where this guy is! I'll haul my crap from Oklahoma to get that price! A scrap car here brings a whopping $166.00/ton...not exactly record-setting numbers there.

This Daytona Wagonaire is definitely worth doing! How many retractable-roof Studes do you think are still out there? Not very many, that is for sure!

    Me Too!:D

What I like about both of these sellers is that they refuse to scrap the cars and are willing to sell cheap to someone that will bring the cars back to the road.(y)

Scrap here in Phoenix is $260 a ton. That would still only bring him about half of his $1200.

You need to see the boundry line between what can be fixed and what can't . I think this car is beyond repair/restoring. I learned this the painful way when I raisd a 65 Mercury Parklane from the dead. That car was a mess , hadn't been driveable since 78. In hindsight I should have never dumped the thousands of dollars into it like I did.

California will pay you 500 bucks for your derelect car dead or alive. Usually the wreckers will add 500 to 700 on top of it. That's what they gave me for the Vega I had

It's not something I would care for. Don't like the Lark style. Yet this one is not really all that bad. You'd have to live in the midwest or south to realize what many of us start out with.
Sure, it has rust and needs a total redo.Yet it is fairly straight and complete. A rare vehicle that deserves to be saved.
