got my buddy infected with the longroof virus..

    Buddy of mine has been driving a frod thunderbird(early seventies) sins i've met him. Couple of weeks ago he dropped by to check out the progress on my rides and he was surprised to see the multi-abuse from a wagon..:thumbs2:

    Yesterday he called and sayd; Paul, get your camera ready, 'cause i coming over to show my new ride..
    Motherf#*%cker got a '70 Dodge Monaco wagon…..cooooooooooooool, see for yourselves.
    It's big, bad and black, and i love it.:yup:

    Most interesting! What's that curious looking silver colored round device :confused:just to the port side of the alternator in the under hood pic? So yur buddy thought you were all :coco: and now he's :icon_drive: a wagon! :thumbs2:

    the device you have seen is the vaporizer for the propane set-up…liquid gas out of the tank enters the vapo and comes out as vapor and then goes into the mixer(mounted to your carb.)
    The vapo is connected to the heater hoses, and uses the hot coolant to do its job.
    it runs great on it and is so much cheaper than the regular gas over here..



    And as i said to my buddy…..it takes some people a bit longer to know what they want….but now he has it.:cheers:

    Of course! I should have recognized it, especially with the modified carb right next to it. How much cheaper is LP compared to gas over there?

    ehm…..there is more to the story, but that info i'll share later when i post the propane-flip on my '68 Belair.
    But to get an idea i pay $1,05 for 1 liter of l.p.g.(propane) and i pay
    $2,36 for 1 liter of regular gas(95 octane)
