Steve, you don't say where you live but most major cities have auto appraisers that will do the inspection for you. If you belong to an internet car group someone there my volunteer to look at the car. As said most of us build our own cars you would have to be very clear about knowing your aspirations/ skills and abilities when looking at a car you want. Henry.
