That engine sounded hot Norman! I revved and held it up over 4000rpm and it sounded like a rock! I may have to go to a 2 1/2" pipe.
I'm surprised nobody called the fire department, though!

I was so dirty, from crawling under the car, that Andy was the key man! Plus it was too dark to shoot anything, except mosquitoes. It was feeding time and they were feeding!:banghead3:

That was why I bought it. The owner and the Ford dealership owner (he sold me my new 1981 Futura wagon), where it was rebuilt, both told me it was still under warranty.

Smoke? Up here in the North End? Somebody was probably sniffing the fumes. About 2 weeks ago, some kids went on a spree lighting up the garbage bins. Burned fences all over in the back-alleys. :(

Norm, you continue to burst my bubble. I would have thought you Canadians were more civilized and well behaved. Western civilization is doomed.:slap:

    Just in time too.

I'll get street pics later today, and read my camera manual about making a video, really short video, RK, REALLY SHORT. :biglaugh:

The rub is posting it somewhere. We don't have that feature do we Stefan? Probably just as well.

I think you can host it somewhere. Youtube comes to mind but I can't look at anything you tube or photobucket.

It's pretty sad really. Our neighbourhood has been one of the roughest since the second Depression. One guy you probably know of is the leader of the Guess Who - Burton Cummings. He's a North End Boy! So was Charles Pogue - the 100 MPG carb inventor. Lots of talent, often misdirected, unfortunately. We have a huge (64,000 in a city of 689,000) annual migration twice a year of the tough folks from the North of Canada, most from small villages and Aboriginal Reserves, and they come with their gangs. :(

I've never had a problem seeing your pictures for some reason. It's probably the way you display them. If there's a photobucket link I can't see it. The goverment blocks it. About 99% of Rev's pictures and several others I can't see unless wagonmaster posts them in to the gallery. I don't have internet at home so screwing off at work is the only way.

    I use Imageshack: http://img241.imageshack.us/

There's always a way to get around the system.:tiphat:

The Police here have taken the attitude that they wanna go home everyday and hug their kids and wives, and I agree. They try to talk a person down, tell them to drop the knife or gun, shoot with the taser and finally, shoot to maim or kill.

I can't believe how many grow ops and drug labs they find in the high-end neighbourhoods! Absentee Asian and cycle gangs. We don't have 'State Police' in our Province. We have a small Federal RCMP division with a huge contingent of Federal RCMP officers who do our Provincial Police duties (Rent-A-Fed). And they work well with the City Police. Can't believe these gangs aren't smarter than to come here in the Prairies.

Since we are the Bread-basket (Wheat, Oats, Sunflowers, Canola, Barley), they have a dedicated Satellite system to detect what's growing well and not. One year, back in the late 70's, they posted where the MJ grow ops were, how far the Algae had choked our natural Lake plants, etc.

The farmers, Police, and other agencies are all hooked up. It can 'see' down to 25 feet below the water. A house or warehouse is a piece of cake! MJ comes up a medium orange colour. Wheat is dark gold, Sunflowers are Yellow, and Barley and Oats are Blue, and brown, respectivley. I guess the gangs never worked in the grain region. :biglaugh:

I believe that folks need to be able to protect themselves and their property.

I just don't understand the destructive mentality of these gangs.
