My floorboard is getting really rusty and is starting to split on the side rail. I was hoping it'd make it through the winter without help but it's not looking promising. So I made bracket to tie the seat bracket to the b-pillar so it won't fall through. This summer when it's parked for the season I plan to take out the seats and gas tank and weld up the floorpan. Already did the trailing arm attachments a little over a year ago. Had to do the same things to the 90 6000 wagon at one time.

:rofl2: Wanted to see what the reaction would be to my post! :rofl2:

Will have more info on Sunday and pics. My Father-In-Law is doing work for the current owner. He was going to try to get pics for me today. The CO inherited the car from the PO who lost interest from what I gather.

1965 Studebaker Commander : 283/Flight-O-Matic AT/4dr/new wiring harness thanks to an electrical mishap. Runs and drives. Needs a new Master Cylinder... but it comes with a new one! Been run regularly and stored in a garage. Needs new floor boards on the drivers side.

As soon as I have more details.... so will you! This includes pics! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima:thumbs2:

Well today I rebuilt the original carb on my 69 Moaco Wagon and took it to be Emmision Tested. It passed! Whoo hooo!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima After that I went to MVD to get tags. I brought with me a "Date Of Manufacture" 1969 Arizona lisence plate and was able to use it. Looks kinda cool on there.

Okay, over the weekend I received back my vacuum wiper motor and installed it.
    Installation took about 5 minutes.
Testing dry showed it worked in the garage, but talk about trial by fire!
You see, today is my daughters birthday. Made plans to meet her for breakfast in Albany, about 20 miles down I-5, last week.
Cruised down this morning no problem with clear weather and sun trying to poke through the clouds.
But driving back holy heck broke loose with rain and truck spray for most of the drive home.
I was nervous how well my repaired and rebuilt system would work but everything was perfect! Defogger kept the windshield clear and the wipers were very effective even on the low speed. Car ran great and has become a comfortable cruiser/daily driver.
(Plus the heater kept my "Chuck Taylors" Toasty warm.)
    It was a great morning!:bouncy:

Yea jairus! Makes all that work worth while. Hate to drive in the rain and road grit but that's what those wipers are for. Keeping your windshield wiped and defogged, and your little footsies toasty warm, kinda puts a smile on your face!
    Happy birthday daughter!:birthday2:

    '70 Buick clean-up continues

Well I have been working at getting the old Estate wagon cleaned up. Working on door jams, dash, seats, etc. It's coming along pretty good. What do you folks think?
