Been a busy July, sold the Country Squire and bought the Caprice back from the guy I sold it to on eBay about 20 miles away from here.

Was never happy with the power from the Country Squire but I miss the power back window the most, the Caprice runs circles around the Squire even with a little 305, Air Conditioning is the best in the world and rides like a limo but no power options like the Squire had, like a 1A2.

So I'm back to square 1!

Made money on both deals too!

    How crazy is that! :rofl2:

I couldn't make it to WagonFest this year, maybe 09!

Still looking for a white or tan mint 90 or 91 Country Squire with the better engine than the 85........

Hey Clark nice to see you again, glad to hear everything is going well.

How about some nice pictures of your new ride. You're lucky you have a 305 mine has a Olds 307 and it's factory,I have the window sticker from the car the original owner was smart enough to include it with the car. What year is your Caprice?

I have all the reciepts from day one, window sticker etc.

It's a '92 and Chevrolet didn't make the woody until '93, mine was converted by Trim Line at the dealer when new. It doesn't have the fake wood trim that is always f---ed up on the real woodys. It has tan pin stripes covering the seams. It has a few small nicks in the wood but has held up very well over the years, no peeling either. It's not your typical shelf liner fake wood material!

I'm thinking of changing the wood to the wood that has the tan lines in it, like http://www.stripeman.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=588-2390&Category_Code=WGD to match the interior, add some Impala SS wheels and I'm done. No lowering or suspension mods either, I like the ride just the way it is, like a pillow!

Everytime I look at it I so want to just keep it all stock, it's so temping to make the changes though!

The little 305 has plenty of power for me, I don't get all the LT1 stuff the other guys talk about. What, do I have to spin the tires off of it, don't think so!

It gets driven probably less than a 1000 miles a year and stays nice and dry inside the garage. If were not going to drive on the beach, we take it once in awhile just for kicks.
