HI, NEW GUY HERE. I LIVE IN A WESTERN MINNEAPOLIS SUBURB. I AM INTO CARS AND HAVE BEEN FOREVER. I AM MEMBER OF MSRA, HAVE BEEN FOR ABOUT 36 PLUS YEARS. PRESENT DRIVERS ARE '50 OLDS CONVERT, '48 LINCOLN CONVERT, '54 FORD RANCH WAGON(RAT WAGON). WAGON WAS FREE, REQUIRED WORK, NOT A "WORK IN PROGRESS", JUST A DRIVE AND ENJOY, NO WORRY ABOUT PAINT SCRATCHES, DENTS, HAIL STORMS, ROCK AND BUG DAMAGES. INSTALLED A 300 6 FORD FROM FORD TRUCK, HAS A C4 TRANS, USED SET OF WIRES. PUT ON ROAD LAST MAY, AS OF LAST SATURDAY IT HAS 9,750 MILES ON IT. DRIVE IT MOST OF THE WINTER, EXCEPT WHEN USE OF 4 WHEEL DRIVE IS NEEDED. I CAME ACROSS THIS WEB SITE WHEN LOOKING FOR A PHOTO OF A '56 MERCURY CANADIAN WAGON. I STILL HAVEN'T HAD ANY LUCK. I'M LOOKING BECAUSE I WILL THE PROUD OWNER OF ONE SOON, SIGHT UNSEEN. LATER KASTL
Kastl. After a few Chevy's another Ford guy! My only comment is stop yelling. And of course, I really like to see unrestored origonals. They are the most fun not worrying about a ding or bug splat.
Kastl, welcome to the board. I got warn you these guys are picture freaks. It took me a while, but I'm like the rest.
sorry If It Appears That I Am "shouting". It Is Easier To Type With Out My Bi-fos. I Use This Type And Font To Satisfy My Personal Need. i Did Post Myself On The Map. i Also Posted A Photo Of The Car With My Intro Heading.
The font is fine. It's generally understood that all caps is shouting. No offense. I'll try to see your photo of the car. Fords and Mercury's are my favorites. Again, I retired once from the Navy and still working. I only wish I could work honey do's.
