I would also check your grounds over carefully. Sometimes a ground can "float" and if you turn a corner or it gets hot and builds resistence the system loses the ground and bam..dead.

    I hear that!!

I took a week off last year to gut mine, but didn't get enough time to reassemble it. Now I have a wagon in the garage with all of it's interior piled in the back waiting for re-installation. C'MON Spring!!! I figure, since most of it's out anyway, I'll order a fresh carpet first thing and gut it one more time before I finish up the rest.

Carpet is where I'm starting as well, whats in there now is 70's and hideous! Before it goes down, sound barrier front to rear, and probably undercoat under that as well. BOOM! Game plan done!

I bought Rust Bullet to coat the floors with last summer. I then decided to deviate from the plan, take a short-cut, and let the body shop coat the floors after I had a couple of holes patched in the floor pans. Now I have truck-bed spray-lining in there and a couple of spots are peeling off. Should have stuck to the plan.

I figure I'll just put deadener down with the new carpet and revisit this later.

I rhino lined my van and patched the floor where the dinet table went in with a fiberglass patch, turned out way good and has held up fine. maybe I will use that again and kill two with one stone?

Why did you two guys quote each other?

Well, I had a productive day today while the sun was shining.
Rained last night... a lot! And the only leaks were one small one on one side of the tailgate. Seems the new seals are holding... mostly. A poor design if I can kick Ford a minute. But what were they thinking making the liftgate wider than the tailgate? The intersection point lets in daylight not to mention rain. (one side that is)

So... going to have to come up with an additional rubber buffer there.

At any rate, I hit the tire store and finally after 6 months have a spare tire in the well under the floor. Now I gotta hit "Pick a part" and find a nice cheap screw jack that will slip under the lowered frame rails.

It was a good day cruising and the wagon runs GREAT!

Jarius, I quote who I am talking to so they know what I am referencing. Often times someone will post in between posts and the conversation can be somewhat "lost" so it helps keep things clear. Thats why I do it at least.

Glad you had a good day cruising your whip man.

Well just to Bring you up todate I have been working on Rust issues under the battery Box. and have not been driving it yet because of this.

Well I was finnaly able to get the Garage Cleaned out enough to get her inside.

So after allot of research I found the Replacement Part.
Thank goodness The Fairlane guys race this year Fairlane.

Well they are $150 bucks a side. Needless to say I have not bought that Part yet but ......Soooooonnnnn.......

So we took some 1/4" Plate and made a makeshift bracket and welded it to the Frame to hold for now... it will all be cut back off when the new Frame section arrives...

But needless to say It's Out of the Garage Now... Just waiting on My Seat. The Wife still has to go back to the shop and finish it.

It's the internet, Jairus. It doesn't have to make sense to you, as long as it makes sense to somebody..........
