This is a Microsoft Powerpoint government/corporate presentation file, showing the expected growth and dollars expected to be made from Hydrogen by 2015, most of it from using Natural Gas or Nuclear plants to produce it. Now I'm getting cranked up. These guys would lose a potfull if we can do this On-The-Fly system, and we'd avoid the cost.

Last nite, they were showing off the new Hydrogen cell powered Toyota vehicle, and saying that it costs $1,200 per month for fuel, plus Lease Payments! Hang on to those roomy wagons for a few months. We'll get this done!

This is from our National Research Canada website. If you type in 'Hydrogen' in their Search box, you'll get all types of results, from Hydrogen and the Milky way to fuel on demand, etc. And some research papers.

Now this might be really useful for other things. It's a site that makes learning science into fun experiments.

I was looking for the composition of regular air, to see how much Hydrogen there is before Electrolysis. 0.00005 parts per million from this 2 page PDF from University of Wisconsin's Chemistry School. Interesting that it says that some regions have as low as 6% humidity!

Cars and engines can go anywhere, right?

I saw a Business Week article today where some US Navy Admiral projected that Oil could get to $400 per Barrel by 2018. 10 years!!!!

Don't hold your breath. See if you can find one of those EV Rangers that didn't get crushed thanks to a GM lawsuit. They were leased and sold only in California. Then put up a solar/wind recharger.

He knew the 's'-word wouldn't pass muster. Chicken-sh!t ring a bell? I think he didn't like the Solar/Wind/EV Ranger combo.

The wind deal would be good here. I'd like to automate the sail. It would be a bugger to steer and operate the sail at the same time. It would take two people to come to work.

    Yet another research project.:biglaugh:

TBird, didn't you say something about LNG on your Cougar? Or are there no filling stations?

I was on a Recall site a few minutes ago, and read that Ford did a recall on the 1982 Cougar for issues with the Propane connections:

    http://www.allworldauto.com/recalls/NHTSA_82V031000_1982_MERCURY_COUGAR_recall_6751.html

Isn't the basic LPG equipment similar to LNG?

They've got other bulletins for it too:

No place here to buy LNG. I think LA has at least one or two places.

Complete plans for a DIY Fuel Cell FREE!

This guy has a complete instruction (HOW, PARTS, CONNECTING) to build your own system (100% Hydrogen on a Carbed or Injected car).

It still means carrying water, but it might save you some 'experiment' or hobby dollars. Half the year's gasoline savings isn't bad. Now you could drive out and tow the new project car back home. :D (y)

Use the links at the bottom of that page too, including that site he is mirroring, don't forget the drawings, plans and instruction pages:
