That car is very appealing to me. Do you guys really think the seller is bad business?

Well he's sold more decent car's than he's screwed over people (That we know of) but he just seems like the type to hide truthful information from a potential buyer which is a red flag for me personally. If you're in the area and can go check out the car yourself- I think that'd be the only way I'd even consider it. He's slinging cars left and right- all he cares about is turning and making a profit, how little that may be. It might be a decent car, we'll never know unless we go take a closer look at it. But if you have to have it shipped or take a flight out to go meet him- you'd better have a bottle of KY ready with you. Again this is just from my personal perspective.

I once drove my family 2 1/2 hours to go look at an SUV- and when I called to talk to the man, I specifically asked him if there was any body damage or dents/rust under the truck (it was a 4x4 Trailblazer) and he told me no. I went out to his lot and with my little flashlight saw a damaged and cracked rear bumper and the underside looked as if the previous owner went rock crawling with it... I was very pissed... very very angry.

I'd never hold anyone other than myself responsible. It just seemed like he did have some positive feedback so i thought i'd ask.

I can understand your frustration. I wouldn't need it to be shipped but i definitely wouldn't have the time to see it before bidding ends. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

$1525 and about 20 hours left AND the seller is down to a feedback rating of 82.1%

I'd be embarassed to list anything with a number below 95%. I'd buy and buy and buy and buy until I could get it up. I'm proud of my 100% @ 80 transactions and I'm going to keep it that way.

I emailed the guy asking for more pics. He wrote back and said it was raining hard but he'd put more. Last i checked, he didn't.

    90mins left, $1675 so far.

Pics I try to look for when checking these wagons out online, are the carpeted areas near the door sills and kick panels, pedal condition, steering wheel condition, warpage of plastic trim bits, seats that look well sat in, worn, or stained, off-color headliners (signifies a less than acceptable quality replacement done on the cheap), wheel well messes, ill-fitting moldings and exterior trim, things like that.

Those pictures he has posted are just not good pictures. Too close up to the wrong parts of the car.

cerealmarshmallows, now THAT guy knows how to do pictures and video! I would buy a burned-out shell from that guy. He also picks the really nice vehicles anyway. Wish he'd have more wagons that aren't Volvos or W123/W124 Benzes.

There used to be a seller on eBay who almost only sold 91-96 B-body wagons. Can't remember the name, it's been awhile.

Mo...I get a sinking feeling that you want to roll the dice on this car. I hope I'm wrong.

Heck no, I'm not bidding on it. If I want a white & wood wagon with a tan interior I can get a RMW.

$1776 now with 11 minutes left. Thing is, this guy claims 72K, it's 5-digit, where's the books/records? You wanna claim 72K you better back it up. You don't even say the AC blows cold. Pictures suck. Feedback sucks. This guy is going down, don't be a part of his last-ditch effort to make some sales before eBay s-cans him!!!
