1956 Pontiac 870

Hello everyone!!! I just joined this site yesterday and what a great place all of you have created. My family and I have this 56 Pontiac wagon and we love it - currently doing an interior and drive train restoration only on this one as the original paint has a GREAT weathered look. It runs it and drives great - here's a list of all the new items I've done this year - rebuilt strato-flight transmission, complete new interior with NOS vinyl for the seats, completely overhauled brake system and brake lines(these things HAVE to stop on a dime) last but not least a complete floor for the passenger compartment - cargo area intact and really nice - bad weather striping took it's toll on the floor boards but the rest of this Colorado wagon is so solid including the rockers. Helping to manage a bodyshop helps when needing new floors
