....but....the Fox just scored a WAGON! OK, OK....it's not a vintage but it's one that caught my eye. But, you know me. I needed to be sure it was what I thought it was by looking at it on line. SO....Ampypants....a relative newcomer to our family lives one town over from the car and went to look at it for me. He did a great job and I am greatly appreciative for his efforts on my behalf. Thanks, Amp! Gonna pick me up at the airport?

Excellent Mike! Glad you went with that Caprice, you got the motor you wanted and the price is fairly decent. Alot of great and tasteful mods already done even! You know my thoughts about the car already, via PM. Good on ya brother, I am excited for ya!

FIRST of all.....I have to go GET the wagon. Ampypants said that if I got it that he would pick me up at the Cincy airport and take me to the car. I'll tell you....Amp is a great guy, a car guy and a wagon guy. But, hey....those things all go together.....right guys?

 

Right on! I have talked with him via PM and is a very nice guy. Its great how we all try to help each other out when it comes to this wagon passion. So when do you hope to make it down to meet with Ampypants?

 

I have to call him (he hasn't been in here today) and find out what would suit his schedule. Then try to book something that will coordinate with him and the seller. A hassle but I'm getting excited to get there and drive it home!

I see its a Tow Package Equipped car(mechanical fan & shroud and hitch), that means its a Posi equipped car. She be ready for some serious power then Mike. Time to start planning motor upgrades, I know you will not be able to leave that motor stock.

 

That's the thing that pushed me over on the car, Blackie. Should have 2.93's too. No, probably won't leave it stock. Someone sent me the pic that I was looking for and couldn't find again. Might head in that direction.....wonder who found that pic for me again???
