I love that wagon. I would love to see it with a matte gray or black paint job, roll bar roof rack, winch, police cruiser bump bars, flood lamps for each direction, that wire mesh stuff they use in all the zombie movies, and a collapsible view cage on top in the back that would lock into place with pipes that are released by a pull cable... I think too much about this kind of stuff. Although I dont actually believe that zombies are going to take over the world I have been an avid zombie fan since I was little... and I am of the rather small school of zombie thought that says if the world goes to zombie (or other disaster scenarios) $h!t I would be going straight north. For many reasons but I do very well in cold climates. I would never survive in a desert wasteland. Give me snow, ice, and the like.
I think I like the old '40's sedan with the big electric fan on the back of it and the big light above the windshield best............good thread X.
The Sno-Runner was available through Chrysler/Plymouth and Dodge dealers in the early 70's. I took this photo of one that was for sale at the Chrysler show at Carlisle last summer. The vendor had two available for sale.
I once saw a guy drive a snowmobile across a lake and it was summer. I wonder if he could do it with one of those.
No, some purple haired kid stole it. And when the guy's 50 ish year old wife wearing sunglasses tried to get it back the kid ran off yelling to the cops.
