Need help Identifying the right tire for my build and confirm some pros vs cons. I’m currently replacing my floors and rear suspension setup (corvette c4 rear unite), with AirRide. I like to stuff wide big fat white walls and keep the look of steel wheels with hub cap and chrome trim ring.

If you have this type of setup with wide wheels with white walls -
***Please share pictures of your setup and details (wheel specs, tire specs) that would be huge help.***

    Thank you in advanced !!!!

Ha, ha! The look of stolen wheels. Why not.
Since your wagon is blue, it wouldn't make sense in mounting the red wheels. I'd go for the black ones with Baby Moons and the B.F. tires, if the two choices shown were to be the only options on the table. Silver-grey wheels would probably look best, with the blue finish

Thanks Poison_Ivy - look of stolen wheels... LOL . The paint is going to stay the same. Just figuring out the tire before spending $$$ and avoiding buyer remorse

If you make it slammed, using the cheater slicks will be an anachronism, as cars of the '50s and '60s were not lowered, but raised for 'drag racing' purposes. So if the wagon's lowered, the Silvertowns are what you'd want to use. And Ivy's partly right--the steel wheels should not be a contrasting color, but in doing this, cast wheels should not be counted out. A set of Torq-Thrust D's would be a sweet choice.

I agree with Andrew, I think the cheater slicks would be out of place on a slammed/airbag car. The Silvertown however would fit the bill nicely.

I think that's what he's going for, the context of modern mechanicals in an older body.

Wow! I like it. I have really become a fan of Detroit Steel Wheels recently. I'm looking forward to seeing this project progress.
