Ok so i finally got my new trim rings and baby moons put on my Roadmaster. the wheels i sandblasted and are primed. i'm just wondering what color to paint the wheels? i was thinking of color matching them to the car, paint them white, or just leave them primed? and i'm open to some other suggestions but i was just thinking of the 3 ways i listed. i haven't been able to really find any wagons my color with white wheels to see what it would look like.

I would go for the body color.

I have always been in favor of a color that coordinates with the car such as the interior color.

If I'm not mistaken, the Tiki Wagon has the moons on it with chrome wheels.

Get yourself a set of those ones you put on between the wheel and the tire. There's a current thread discussing them. I'll go see if I can find it, A1A and post the link for you. 90 Merc put them on his Colony Park.

I found it. My bad, it was Bowser with the silver CP. I think 90 Merc's is black. Anyway, here's the link:

Typically....cars do not look good with the rims picking up the car color. I would paint them argent.

I'd match the color of the wood grain. Can't quite get my mind around light blue rims. At least it's pretty easy to change the paint on wheels if you try something and decide you don't like it.

    Cheers,
    Ken

I agree. I'd think about a tan to match the wood. Nice contrast.
