My electra estate has some bubbling at the rear wheel wells and some rust where the wood grain has peeled away. There is also some paint bubbling at the rear side windows. The areas aren't huge but do need to be attended to.

Where can I find info here on spot rust control or when does it become too big a job OR there are enough smaller areas that a overhaul is in order.or a link with some pics of where a small rust spot repair has been done.

I just can't see how it's possible to spot rust fix and then patch with wood grain without it looking...wel...patchy, I guess.

1988 buick electra estate in the espresso color.

Unfortunately there is not way, as far as I know, to touch up the wood grain. That is the downside. As for the rust repair, it depends on how bad, how deep and which side it starts on. If it is surface, and not too extensive, then a Dremel is your best friend. If it is deeper or more wide spread than that, you'll need an angle grinder. If it is from the inside, you may need to cut and weld. Send pics, and I'll try to give you some guidance.
