I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I'm new, and missed it.
So if you would please indulge me...:162:

I love the look of 17" Torque Thrust 5 spoke wheels on the 91-96 GM wagons, and want a set for my 96 Roadmaster.

I can't find them, or any like them (Ridler etc...) that fit with out custom work. ($):slap:

Am I lookin in the wrong places? Any advice?

is it the back spacing your having problem with? Measure back spacing on your stock wheels or get the spacing of Impala ss 17" wheels. If you are wondering what tires will be same I show your car came with 225/75R15 which is 28.3" tall,8.9" section width converting over to 17" 225/65R17 28.5" tall 8.9" section width 235/60R17 28.1" tall 9.3" section width 245/60R17 28.5" tall 9.6" section width and 255/55R17 28" tall 10" section width. These sizes are just to help if you was wondering what was = to your factory size.Hope that is a little help to you.

    Thanks 1Tireman(y)
When I decided on 17" rims, I researched the sizes, and found 235-60-17 was the same dimension as stock...this is what I want.
But I'm told the bolt pattern on the Torque Thrust rims, and other brands like them don't fit my Roadmaster.:49:
I'v seen plenty of post with pics of those wheels on the 91-96 GM wagons.
Am I talkin to the wrong wheel guy?

yeah the 235/60R17 has alot of choices to choose from. Some of the odd size like the 255/55R17 is close in diameter and is wider but only have limited number of manufacturers. Is the Roadie lug pattern 5 on 4.5 or 5 on 5?I have a friend with a wheel shop in Mississippi and I will check with him.He finds some odd size and patterns.I will post something on this thread if I find out anything out for you.

should be the same bolt as the same year chevy wagons, Buick went corp by then AKA just a reskinned chevy.

But yea on say a 80 like mine, I has it own 5 lug big bolt pattern that is different from the rest.

but if sitll no, you just get wheel adapters, sold everywhere now that custom rims are in fashion and they often don't fit what folks want.

torq thrusts do come in 17" 5x5 bolt pattern. you are talking to the wrong tire guy. try summit. also try to look at US wheel. they have a wheel that looks a lot like the TT but at almost 1/2 the price per wheel.
in the 1980's the sedan had the S10's smaller bolt pattern while the wagons had 5x5.
in 1991+ the sedan and wagons both had a 5x5 pattern.

Torg Thrust 2's will work, have to be the polished ones.

    17x8 - 5x5 - shipped to you I can get them for $1190.

Could be a little less depending on shipping cost. I can get them for you though.
