Great combination! I would have loved seeing the faces of everyone you passed along the way when they saw your wagon and RR.

We are micro-managed with automotive government. A local junkyard wouldn't sell me a $35 AC condenser because I don't have the HVAC license. The local autoparts shops won't sell you O-rings for the same reason, but they will sell you refill kits. I went to a guy that had a condenser, and a farm supply for the O-rings. The government needs one big O-ring up their northward passage.

They do this to boost the trades, which are unionized here. And this provincial government is pro-union.

and to all my fellow Americans.....i present to you......the future of America!!!

as of right now i can go to a junkyard and buy anything i want! and tow whatever i want as long as its in the spec's of the vehicle (or don't get caught). but i can see this changing soon.
some of the greenie weenies here are in love with the new rules in the UAE that outlaw old cars. some of them even think that even the vintage cars and classics should be forced to convert to "environmentally friendly" means of locomotion or retired to museums.....really?? classic cars are such a fraction of the vehicles on the road and in most parts of the country, they arent even on the road after oct!!

Ian, they don't even teach shop class anymore in highschool. Now its a community college Apprenticeship progam, but you can't find a journeyman to finish getting the ticket! They're all busy making $50 per hour! Screw the grads!

Its crazy to do this, because we've outpriced ourselves against Asian labour rates, kids can't keep their cars running safely or at all, and good parts are going to the smelters. Total waste!

The Green Weenies are an industry now. One big lobby, and lots of industries cashing in, and popping up. You will not be able to install a solar panel on your house without a building permit next year, or a wind generator, or a rain harvesting system. They all have to use commercial equipment that is approved by the EPA, the Fire Code, the Building Code, etc. We're being legalized out of freedom, from Mother Nature's own freebies!:banghead3::banghead3::banghead3:

SOBs! Well, as Mel Gibson said in Lethal Weapn IV, I don't give a fock! I'm doin' it to mine, my way. By the time they get around to finding out why my water usage is ZIP, and they get embarrased that the billing fee is more than the sewage fee, they'll have to use an archeologist to detect what century it was built with.

Want a free compressor engine, and run your fridge and freezer(s) for zip? 4 whirlygigs on the roof, pumping an AC car compressor and filling a compressed air tank. No hydro hookup, just v-belts and a shaft, and hoses. That'll knock off about $10 per month for life off the hydro bill. Want a free solar hotwater heater? Dual pane window in a 2 X6" frame, running two lines of PVC, one heats the Antifreeze up to 300 F which heats the cold city or rain water (filtered) and pushes hot water into an attic-mounted tank that feeds into your regular water heater (southern folks don't need that step), My roof get 4 times more rainfall than I use! 1,400 sq ft roof! Free, clean, pollution free, chlorine and fluoride free water! Boil that up to 300 F in summer or 140 in winter and you've got another $20 per month in your pocket.

Electrical is getting easier to make solar panels. You can buy a coating to make custom solar cells, but the power storage is complex and high battery maintenance. You can make a setup with an Ethanol-powered generator, making the ethanol from all the junkmail you get from the Green Weenies, though!:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:
