In addition to my caprice, I'd like to have
    1.1978(ish)Crysler Town and Country
    [IMG]
One of my co-workers just saw a primo black one get smashed at a monster truck rally. DAAAYUM!
    2. 80's era Chevy Mailbu wagon. If only I was around when Stephen sold his LT1 powered wag.
    3. Vega wagon. Do I need to explain?
4.Ford falcon wagon. Just too cute.
    5. Chevy II/Nova wagon. there's sone for sale in my area sans engine for $700... If only I could
    6. Pinto Crusing wagon. How's that for a freak model? What was Ford's idea behind these? Capturing a bit of the custom van era?
    7. Ford faimont wagon. I'd put mustang suspention components under it and a 5.0 under the hood.
    8. E class benz wagons. Classy, but unreliable.
    9. BMW 5 series wagons- Even though I beat one in a race :D I still like 'em. I saw a new one with staggered 19 or 20 inch wheels the other day and almost jizzed.
    10. Pretty much any tri five nomad. No need to explain those.
Many more are on my list, but those are my current raves.
    :yippee:
I posted this list on ISSF, but I curious about what this more open minded crowd will say.

    I'd go for a:

71-76 GM B-Body (Pontiac Safari, Olds Custom Cruiser)
    74-77 Chrysler C-Body (LeBaron/NewYorker Town & Country)
75-78 Ford Panther-Body (Mercury Marquis Colony Park, Ford LTD Country Squire)

I'd have one of each just so I can have all 3 types of trunk seat arrangements... Rear (Mopar), Front (GM), and Dual Center(Ford).

Oh, and a Ford Pinto Squire... just for the Hell of it. I think it would be funny to have 2 Ford wagons.. One, a massive Country Squire... and the other, a pint sized "Country Squirt"

    You got it bad!

Buying wheels before you buy the car? You are certified!

FWIW- there's a badass pinto crusing wagon on craigslist with a built V8.

I've always liked the 75-78 Ford and Merc Country Squire and Colony Park models.

And naturally, the 1970-72 Olds Vista Cruiser.

The idea of a 455 in my 89 Custom Cruiser is very appealing also.

This is on my "gotta have it" list. It's about the only non '59 that I would want. And if I had the 15G's when I was at the show, I would have bought it.

Dang, US wagons all seem to have that similar Zing! I think it's the wood.

As for my list, it is fairly short.
Aside from the new Commodore series due next year there is the Holden VY Series 2 SS. They only come in Red Silver or Black, but they all had the Gen III 5.7 Liter and I'm pretty sure most of them you find are the six speed manual. Full sports suspension and leather interior.

Outside of the modern era, I like the 70's HQ which was the same model as my first car: 3 on the tree 202ci I6.
If I could get my hands on one now, I would probably slide a Holden 5.0 in the massive engine bay with a column shift T700 4 speed slusher.

Probably a lot like this one:
