I've emailed these to the Rev and not received the promised phone call. Tho... there was a call during dinner. But garbled message suggested a call back which didn't happen. (We don't answer the phone during dinner.)

So, the question to ALL MEMBERS of Station Wagon Forums.com is: would you purchase one of these in your size? And if so.. we especially want to hear from you if you are one of the plus sizes. Reason is... the darned shirt manufacturers charge us a buck per size increase above 2x. So to keep costs down most of the time we fill our shelves with L, XL and 2X sizes with only a few above that for our plus sized friends. K? K!

Yes, you can fill in your name with a Sharpie if you want to personalize your shirt.

There will be little discussion regarding subject matter. Although... you are free to try to try and bate me.
After living here on SWF for 17 months I kind of got to know most of you guys and the vehicles you drive. So... the images were chosen with two criteria in mind.
First: styling trends through the years and second: the most popular subjects of members of this forum. I also tried to keep all the major manufacturers in mind and represent both the beginning and the current styling of our beloved long roof automobiles.

So... would you buy one for an estimated $20.00 plus shipping?

To be blunt honest, I really dig the back of the shirt with the wagons represented......but the front of the shirt with the "hello my name is"..... needs a better idea IMO.

I'm almost with Tedy. The front needs something more.
And I'd like to see the front late model wagon switched with an older wagon from the rear. Like maybe the Buick in the same pose.
    Great idea. (y)
These are only suggestions. I'd buy one like it is.

Great idea, Jairus. And I would agree that the front may need a little something else. Maybe something simple as the SWF header logo.

IN any case, count me in for at least 1, XL. I'M 'L', but I like my T-shirts oversized.

Black's OK, too, but how about another color - beige?

I see the front and back working together as part of the theme - that we're in a substance abuse support group, and our "substance" is station wagons. I'd write in "Clark Griswold" on the name tag on one of mine!

Rev and I talked about bumper stickers of the forum logo years ago. I'd almost forgot about them. I should still have all of the original graphics files somewhere.

The shirts would be cool, but I agree with Krash and Tedy about something else for the front.

Yep, Tedy, we do need Stef's approval.

J - Great idea, I'd take one, but like the others, not sure about the front. I'd take one anyway (XL so no special order) but I usually don't like peeps staring at my chest trying to see if my name is written very tiny

I like it! But unfortunately these sizes will be to big for me. Maybe I could make a aerial flag out of one.

But I was wondering, will there be any funds from the sale of these t's going to the forum?

Looks like you put alot of thought into the design, thanks. (y)

Jairus , what a great idea and i kinda agree with old at front and new at the back on the rear of the shirt . as for the front of this Tee mabye incorporate the word longroof with a small sketch of a wagon you feel maybe appropriate (not in favor of name tag) and perhaps an option on a white Tee as we live in a rather worm climate . I quite often purchase Tees from the US to gift to family and friends. Also about sizes smaller as fannie has said would be good (ladies included) so in you calcs we would be happy to purchase 10 as a min order thanks again from downunder

    Look good.:)

Do I need to attend a 12 step program?

Why was a Caprice wagon instead of a Roadmaster wagon used?
The Caprices are nice but they don't have a Vista window in the roof like the RMW and the OCC and are much less popular than the Roadmaster wagon... and no Vista Cruiser???
If their isn't one of the most legendary station wagons ever produced on there at the least there should be a GM wagon with a window in the roof.
    I suggest a '92 Custom Cruiser.:biglaugh:
That newer car isn't a wagon in my book, it's an extendo trunkhatch sedan, it shouldn't even be sharing the same fabric with those other cars.:)

Not going to enter into a debate over the subjects but I have noted all your opinions for future designs. Fannie, we can print any special orders you want including women's sizes and cuts the first time out. Once the screens are on the press we can print on a denim jacket for heavens sake. (I have one set aside just for this project!)

So the purpose of this thread is to take a head count of who will purchase one and what non-standard sizes we need to order.

Rat Hole Customs is devoted to the Station Wagon lifestyle. We here love them, own them and have a number of wagon theme shirts we are getting ready to print and post on the web site. In fact, it's getting it's own tab... how cool is that? (I'm the web master don't ya know.)

At the moment we are locked and loaded producing a half dozen political shirt designs for the Bill Post Radio show and soon as those are in production the Wagon thing will be up and running before spring and the long awaited t-shirt weather.:yup:
    Ciao
