We took the wagon up around the lake again. This time we brought our poles and did some fishing. Good old fashion tailgate shore fishing. I love driving this wagon and doing the fun stuff.

Always great pictures. Looks like a great place to get away in a wagon.
I notice you let your wife catch the largest fish!:)

Northern Cali all the way up into British Columbia is God's Country. Tons of big lakes and hundreds of much smaller lakes West of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountain Ranges, plus the Olympic Mountains in far Western Washington and Vancouver Island.

You should take the first pic posted and use Photochop to backdate it like the old postcard pics you'd see way back when.

Have you ever been tempted to send her out on as small a boat as possible, Sir?

(What's been Bill smokin'?) It's no use teaching it to talk, Sir. It doesn't have vocal cords. I should know. I've tried it with many creatures, as well as persons.

You know what I do when I catch a fish that small? Take a picture, then maybe put a hat on and take another picture from a different angle, then maybe put on sunglasses and take another picture, depending on how many "accessories " you have you can turn that one fish into many. It's kind of how Jesus fed the masses. GreAt pictures!!! Thanks

I did it the other way around, Sir. I used to dress up the fish in different attire. Some male and some female. It's hard to tell the difference, on most fishes, anyway. I simply gambled and painted up the ones I suspected were female with lipstick.

Too bad that killer whale isn't signed up here. Otherwise, you could've gotten the GREAT time story direct from the source.

My boy found a fishing show on tv and he’s become obsessed. I took him to the first place I ever caught a fish. I guess a was probably 7-8?? We had about about 10-15 boys in our neighborhood growing up. One day we were playing army or something down in the creek and Tony had some crackers or carrots or something and he was throwing little pieces in the water as we watched all these little dace minnows swarm the food. But there were bigger fish darting out from underneath the limestone ledge we were standing on. I made a mental note and as soon as I could get down there by myself with a pole I did. I remember some guys were roofing or something on a neighbors house I passed on the way to the creek. They noticed my pole and bucket and began laying into me about how there wasn’t any place to catch fish anywhere near. Well, long story short I caught one of those fish under that rock, put it In the bucket and walked back home. My Pop who knows nothing about fishing was suprised when I returned with the fish. I asked him what it was which I still remember his disappointing answer. “I don’t know man?!, a little carp?! Maybe it’s just a big minnow?!” :slap: Really pop?! A big minnow?! So fast forward 30 years and I took him back to the same spot which is now overgrown and riddled with “no trespassing” signs. (Try me buddy) He caught one the same way I did, with bread and just dropping it right in front of the ledge. It looks like a little small mouth!!! The miles of creek we explored as kids none of it is over 3 feet deep and here in this one little spot are these baby bass.(I think) So cool! Here’s some pics!! 0425395E-EFF2-4B80-B9CE-6A2BFEAA1E2A.jpeg 224E6FFC-8D76-49B3-9074-FEB22AB5D2E2.jpeg F6FFA109-39EB-44A6-958C-B947C15DA1AE.jpeg Here the kids are at the lake ripping up some bluegill: 8FC872D3-B82E-487F-A331-EE496CB055EA.jpeg here’s the boy wearing his “shishing vest”. For some reason he thinks this vest is for fishing: 9EA40A7A-5946-4328-8005-440DCDDF9A00.jpeg 6526095D-152A-48AD-917A-8220B7C11A83.jpeg And this was cool, must have been a school passing through because they both landed these shiners at the exact same time!! 91697084-FE9C-4229-B8BA-DE3763F2F5FE.jpeg DD2602A0-9C57-4A98-910C-3C461E7DCAF8.jpeg lets see those fish sportsman!!!!
