Here's some pictures I shot yesterday at my house....we wound up with 8-10 in my area. (Hendersonville NC) What's with this? Winter's not even for another 2 days....

The third picture I tinted it to look like it was taken in the 70's. 50's rancher with a 70's wagon out front.

Looks like one of those wet snows, HH. Hard to get around in that stuff. Especially for you southerners, I would imagine. Do you get snow there often? Pretty place.

I've had to do a bunch of driving in this stuff, and I am hating it. We luckily have snowplows and (salt) to help clear the roads. Where I am at is in the Blue Ridge mountains in Western NC. If you drive south out of the mountains they only had rain. Several towns in this region tied or surpassed snowfall records yesterday. We get a little more snow then the rest of the Southeast. We usually get at least one or two good snowfalls each winter. 20 miles north of me is Asheville NC and they got even more snow and massive power outages to boot.

We've got about 20" so far here in northern Virginia, in the suburbs of Washington, DC. I haven't taken the camera out yet, only the snow shovel. Several times.
    Can't wait for spring!!

No THANKS, OTR. I loved it when I was a kid...when ever that was....I want nothing to do with the stuff anymore OR the cold weather. Somebody give me a small room where it's warm for the winter!:D
